  1. Deskwell

Thanks for calling Northside Dental, this is the clinic's virtual receptionist. How can I help?

  2. Caller

Hi, I chipped a tooth at dinner. Any chance I can get in this week?

  3. Deskwell

Sorry to hear that. Is it causing you pain right now, or is it more of a rough edge?

  4. Caller

Just a rough edge. It's fine.

  5. Deskwell

Okay. I have Thursday at 10:30 am or Friday at 2:15 pm with Dr. Amin. Which works better?

  6. Caller

    Thursday.

  7. Deskwell

You're booked for Thursday at 10:30. I'll text a confirmation to this number. If it starts to hurt before then, call back and I'll flag it for the team first thing.

For missed calls, after hours, or both. Your number stays the same, and you can switch it off any time.

Built to stay in its lane.

  • Honest about what it is

It introduces itself as your clinic's virtual receptionist. Callers can always ask for a person.

  • No clinical advice

Symptoms and medical questions are never answered. They're passed to your team, flagged by urgency.

  • Only what it needs

It collects what's required to book or pass a message, nothing more. We walk through PHIPA with you before launch.

  • You can hear every call

Recordings and transcripts are yours to review. Anything you'd say differently, we change.

One flat price. No per‑minute math.

We're starting with a small group of Toronto clinics. Founding clinics get setup free and a direct line to the person who built it.

Questions clinics ask us.

Will patients know it isn't a person?

Yes. It introduces itself as the clinic's virtual receptionist, and anyone who'd rather talk to a person gets a message taken for your team. Most callers just want the booking done.

What happens with an emergency?

Callers describing an emergency are told to call 911. Anything urgent but not an emergency is flagged to your team straight away, by text if you want.

Does it work with my booking software?

Where your system allows it, it books straight into your calendar. Where it doesn't, it takes the request, holds the time the patient wants, and sends it to your desk to confirm. We'll tell you which on our first call.

Do we need a new phone number?

No. You keep your number and forward calls when the desk is busy or closed. Most phone systems do this in a couple of minutes.

Can we change what it says?

Any time. New hours, a provider on holiday, a promotion: send us a note and it's updated the same day.

What if it's not working for us?

Turn off call forwarding and you're done. It's month to month, with no contract.

Hear it answer your clinic's phone.
